This item has been stripped, sanded, primed, painted and finished in a satin sheen durable clear topcoat.

Research suggests this piece to be 100+ years old, has classic Edwardian/early Art Deco lines with tapered legs, original brass handles which have been cleaned and buffed, and a gently curved backboard. A true antique.

The right-hand cabinet has an original removable box (originally lead lined), historically used to keep perishable items cold before refrigerators were commonplace. The top drawer also has an original felt lined removable storage tray.

Two lockable side cabinets (one new working key included) plus two drawers made with solid dovetail joints.

There are original manufacturers numbers stamped both inside the cabinet and on the rear of the wooden top, which are production numbers.

Approximate dimensions:

Width 152cm; Height 96cm (+ 20cm); Depth 54.5cm

This is a very solid, structurally sound piece of furniture which is also incredibly heavy.

Minor Imperfections - Both drawer fronts have small sections of trim missing. This does not affect the structure or functionality of the piece but is worthy of a mention and typical of such an old item of furniture. See photographs below for further details.
